Car park, campsite or hotel — we come to you

What we actually do

We are a mobile tyre and battery callout service based in Honfleur, Normandy. When you call, we ask where the car is and what happened, then drive a fully equipped van straight to you. Punctures are repaired on the spot when the damage allows it; otherwise we fit a replacement tyre from stock. We do not tow vehicles — the car stays exactly where it is, and it drives away under its own power once we're done.

We come to the car park, the campsite or the hotel

Most tourists discover a flat tyre in the least convenient place: a seafront car park in the old Vieux Bassin, a campsite pitch on the Côte Fleurie, or a hotel car park after a day trip. That's fine — we drive to that exact spot. Narrow lanes near the harbour, a tight campsite access road, a hotel courtyard: our van is small enough to reach most places, and if it genuinely can't get right up to the car, we carry the tools the last few metres on foot.

Prices, in plain terms

A puncture repair starts at €79, callout included. Fitting a replacement tyre starts at €35 per wheel (the tyre itself is quoted separately, since sizes and brands vary). A dead battery, common after a long motorway drive followed by days parked in the sun, is replaced from €149, fitted and tested. Night hours (10pm-7am), Sundays and French public holidays carry a surcharge, which is always confirmed on the phone before we set off — no surprises when we arrive.

On the motorway or the Pont de Normandie?

French law reserves breakdowns on motorways, expressways and the Pont de Normandie bridge itself for approved highway recovery operators. If you break down there: pull onto the hard shoulder, put on your hi-vis vest, get behind the barrier, and call 112 or use one of the orange emergency phones. Once your car has been moved off the motorway or the bridge to a safe spot — a service area, a slip road, a nearby car park — call us and we'll take over from there for the tyre or battery.

Calling from abroad

Our number is 02 79 00 13 21 when dialling from within France. From a foreign mobile, or if your phone shows the international format, dial +33 2 79 00 13 21. We speak French; a few clear words — "flat tyre", the car park name, your car's colour and make — are enough to get us moving in the right direction while you describe the rest.
